What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a clear aligner system that straightens teeth gradually using a series of custom-made, removable trays, offering a discreet and comfortable alternative to traditional metal braces. At Smiles Made Perfect Dental Partners, we are an authorized Invisalign provider and help patients every day achieve their most perfect smile using this technology. Results are typically quicker than traditional braces, and these clear aligners are much more comfortable, making Invisalign one of the most popular treatment options we offer across all three of our locations. Because the aligners are removable, there are no dietary restrictions and no changes to your brushing and flossing routine, which means your oral health stays on track while your smile is improving. We offer free Invisalign consultations so you can explore whether clear aligner therapy is the right fit for your goals before making any decisions. And for patients who are considering Invisalign as part of a broader smile transformation, our Smile Test Drive is a great place to see how aligned teeth could change the overall look of your smile.

The benefits of Invisalign
Virtually invisible treatment
Invisalign aligners are made from clear, smooth plastic that fits snugly over your teeth, making them nearly undetectable to others so you can straighten your smile without drawing attention to the fact that you're in treatment.
More comfortable than traditional braces
Without metal brackets or wires, Invisalign aligners are gentle on the soft tissues of your mouth and can be removed when you eat, drink, brush, and floss, making the entire treatment experience significantly more comfortable and convenient than conventional orthodontics.
Results that are typically faster than braces
Because Invisalign treatment is carefully mapped out in advance using precise digital planning, many patients complete their treatment in less time than they would with traditional braces, with the exact timeline depending on the complexity of the case.

The Invisalign process
Your free Invisalign consultation
Your Invisalign journey begins with a free consultation, where your provider will evaluate your teeth, discuss your alignment goals, and determine whether Invisalign is the right treatment for your situation. This is also a great opportunity to get a sense of your expected timeline and what the process will involve from start to finish. If you're exploring Invisalign alongside other cosmetic treatments, we can talk through how it fits into a broader smile plan during this same visit.
Your custom aligners and treatment plan
If Invisalign is a good fit, your provider will take digital impressions of your teeth, which are used to create a precise 3D treatment plan mapping out the movement of your teeth from their current position to their final result. Your custom aligner trays are then fabricated based on this plan, and each set of trays is worn for about one to two weeks before moving on to the next set in the series. You'll check in with your provider periodically throughout treatment to make sure everything is progressing as planned.
Your finished smile and retention
Once your final aligner has done its work and your teeth have reached their new positions, your provider will evaluate your results and discuss retainer options to keep your smile in place long term. Teeth have a natural tendency to shift back toward their original positions over time, so wearing a retainer as directed is an important part of protecting the results you've worked toward. Your provider will give you clear guidance on how often to wear your retainer and what to expect during the retention phase.
